okay, so hello :D school's gotten better since i've 'bonded' with some of my classmates. was super sad at first because the class was so segregated. ALMOST CRIED AFTER CONTACT TIME ONCE LOL. but i guess from that state of bad it could only get better. and also hillary my tiny ray of light gave me cheer-up chocolate and passed me some of her good life :p man. some girls get all the luck. hahah, so happy for her though. hope it gets even better.

i deleted my blog for a couple days since i hardly post anymore but it was too much of the bitter in bittersweet so i restored it :p

today was exciting. met my new classmates and my form teacher who, in the latter's words, are the 'people i'm stuck with for the next two years' to which i'm like..okay.. quite relieved with the gender balance. it's like 13 guys to 9 girls or so? thought it was gonna be like ten thousand girls to two guys since it's arts but after asking around a bit the class seems to have been COMPLETELY randomly put together. there's people doing h2 chinese, h2 malay, hybrids, mep, ELL (me:D) and etcetc.
its just a very strange class. i don't think we're going to be very bonded in terms of helping each other with our studies.. but hopefully we can bond in other ways cause if a class isn't bonded it's just plain sad. JUST PLAIN SAAAD. and since i'm so used to bonded classes such as 4CHARITY i might die in a boring segregated class.

so yes, today j1s came for track trials! it was so fun to see so many people in track finally. really hope some good people stay :D

I PASSED THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND LINGUISTICS PROFICIENCY TEST. ho yeeeahhhh.
haha, orientation ended yesterday. ac's campfire was insane. it wasn't even a campfire! or anything that even RESEMBLED a campfire. it was, in one word, a club. fun but scared me a bit haha, everyone just started squishing together and everyone just got lost in the crowd and loud music. i'm not sure whether to be glad about getting orientation over and done with. on one hand, actual school life starts. on the other hand, actual school life. starts.
oh well, let's just hope i can stay true to some of my goals in jc yes? all the best to everyone and have a great chinese new year :D

SO THIS IS AN EXCITING WEEK, NO? i need updates people, school posting results, EVERYTHING. this is my..second? full day in hong kong and i feel so PHAT. like fat. lol, been eating like a mcdonald's cow being stuffed for patties. but at least in hong kong you walk everywhere so it balances out.
so other than eating i've been playing alot of mahjong, getting in touch with my tai-tai side and i actually won like three times today so like o: haha, good job, me.
hope everyone (my age) is enjoying the last week of holidays.. SCHOOL STARTS IN A WEEK OMGAD. i'm pretty excited :3 kay, early dim sum tomorrow. night everyone!

it's wednesday and o level results came out on monday so i know this is rather late but still, LIKE YAYYY. i got a 10 raw score which means 8 final score so like :D i'm actually very thankful for my result since i expected a not-very-good one. especially happy for the A1s in english and lit. not too happy with bio :p got a B3..but okay, so i'm not very good with memory work :/ guess arts it is in jc haha.
i might try ELL, econs, geog and math for jc. haven't actually decided though.

OH WELL SHALL LEAVE MY TROUBLES FOR LATER. in the meantime i have enough troubles to worry about. like how my CRAMPS are out to KILL ME.

so like, woo.
it still hasn't really hit me that it's 2011.. and that RESULTS ARE IN 3 DAYS. sigh, let's stop talking about that..
today was fun, got up around 11 and went out with hillary and friends around 1-okay i was late but so were the rest of them! except one of us haha. went to nex for the first time, ate alot of food, freaked out a lot.. stupid joel made us watch Let Me In- this vampire movie because he wanted hillary to freak out but it turns out hillary was fine.. because the movie wasn't really all that scary, it's just the anticipation and the label of 'horror movie' that had me quivering. it was horrible :p
after that we went to sakae in junction 8 for their dinner while i was waiting for dad to pick me up and about here, the drama of the day unfolded.

dad was waiting so i had to rush. HOWEVER, when i got to bishan mrt from sakae i realised joel's umbrella was with me, which he also called to inform me of using hillary's phone.
phone rings(hillary on caller id) - me: "eh i have joel's umbrella how?" joel: "i know.." SIGH.
so i had to run back to give it back to him- YOU COULDN'T MEET ME HALFWAY DUDE?! and then run back to the station to get to yck station for dad to pick me up. at the latter, i got off the train, ran downstairs to the gantries, realised i didn't have my ezlink card, PRAYED WITH MY LIFE I DROPPED IT IN THE STATION, ran back up the stairs, saw it on the ground from afar, THANKED GOD, ran towards it, had my shoe FLY OFF-luckily it didn't fall into the tracks omg. and then rushed
back down and now i'm home. safe. tired.

but it was fun nonetheless, albeit awkward at some points.

exams so far have been alright, can't wait for them to be over cause then i can go OUT and not stay cooped up at home all day. i haven't done a single thing concerning studying today lol. next paper's on monday so i'll study tomorrow and during the weekend :]
so in my recent nail art craze i've gone a little bit wonky doing my nails.. you can find the photos on facebook. the other day je told me she saw a job description for a manicurist and she thought i should try for the job haha! i would totally do it but after the o's period is just too precious for me to be buffing and painting other people's nails and taking crap from older staff/bosses.. so yea, no. hahah. oh that reminds me, i have TRAINING after o's. man.. d'oh well.

so today they gave us a break from throwing prelim results at us for DAY OF REFLECTION.. where a pastor and his team come to say stuff to us. which was like.. okay, i suppose. it's pretty religious so i think the non-christians were rather bored. i wanted to text/play with my ipod but a certain PRINCIPAL had to be sitting behind me. ugh. her hair got even uglier, didn't think it could. the whole thing was alright i guess but we could've been doing work, i don't feel much more inspired or motivated. feel rather nauseous actually, should go get something to eat..
so anyway, i think the most interesting bit of today was the feet-washing to show how much we respect our friends/forgive them for whatever they've done to us.. i washed feet! haha i had no idea how though- when alex put her feet in the water i was like.. they're clean, what do i do now? i suppose cause we never actually wash our feet with our hands.. or at least i don't? is that normal? lol oh well.

HAPPY FRIDAY. i feel pretty good today because amath went pretty well. or at least, could've been a LOT worse. so like YAYYYYY

so its just pe elec left for prelims.. while every other sec 4 student in the country finished weeks ago.. am honestly quite exhausted and i keep thinking its over its over but its NOT cause the most "exciting" part hasn't even come yet. really hoping it'll go well >< then i'm just going to go crazy because jc will be hell and i should celebrate before it starts.. oh i have to train though, but that's fun so no complaints :D
already making after-o's plans hahah. and as much as i want o's to be over.. i also kinda don't want this year to be over :/ I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE MY FRIENDS.. except the future acsians of course :D
but daaang. aish, i dunno what's come over me. mood swing omg. hahah.
okay back to happy mode.. had loads of fun today! went shopping and bowling with hill and je, thought niki'd come along but she left after math ): so bowling was fun.. we kinda suck haha but i reached 100+ after not playing for a really long time ^^ I PWNED THEIR ASSES MUHAHA. and there was this huge domokun outside an arcade and we were plotting stealing it.. by simply holding it and running. it was so big omg it was like HILLARY-SIZED haha! love itttttt. domokun <3 yea so plenty of shoes and bowling balls later.. i'm pretty exhausted. photos may come up soon! hope everyone has an awesome weekend :D

trained with monday's muscle aches today. i don't think i'm going to be able to get out of bed tomorrow ): i'm hurting in places i don't know the names of.. i don't even know how to describe the places! AISH. gosh it hurts so bad i just feel like lying down until the pain goes away. but i guess this still doesn't beat cramps. it's more of a funny-make-me-look-like-an-old-lady pain. cramps are just plain cruel.

on a brighter note, i met a new teammate today, another one of the only two guys in the throwing team-both of whom are (very nice) javelin throwers and not overweight but sufficiently muscly- (hillary is jealous out of her mind now hahahah) we had to do gym and i loved the lady coach cause she said i jumped higher than all the guys MUHAHAH. and oh how fun gym was.. saw a hot rugby guy doing weights ^^ his face was kinda scary actually but his arms were like... *daze*

so conclusion: training hurts my muscles but my eyes have good fun.
haha, i just remembered that i put my blog on fb so if people see this.. shame on you crystal. lol.

SO HI.

went to AC for my first training session today! was half an hour early so i was reading tkam when i heard a low female voice go GOOD MORNING CRYSTAL and it turns out it was my vice cap! WHO I THINK IS SO COOL BECAUSE SHE'S GOT A LOW VOICE TOO HEEH. so anyway.. we threw a bit, i learnt that i now have to live with millipedes on the throw area and i made a few new friends :D

AND THUS i'm quite happy now.. everyone's really friendly and welcoming and my throws seniors are really fun. coach is funny too! he's from china so my chinese might improve going for training ^^ i like it there already :] can't wait to go back on wednesday and holiday training not only to bond with seniors but because i really want to see how much further my javelin can go.. although my sides are aching ALREADY so pray for me :p

BREAKING NEWS: okay not really.

SINGAPORE: From 2012, seven new schools will offer the Integrated Programme, bringing the total to 18.
A new junior college will be built in 2017, to serve students from three of the schools.
The seven schools are Victoria School, Cedar Girls' Secondary, Methodist Girls' School, St Joseph's Institution, Catholic High School, CHIJ St Nicholas Girls' School and the Singapore Chinese Girls' School.
From 2012, Victoria School and Cedar Girls' Secondary will be paired with Victoria JC, which already runs the programme.
The rest will begin in 2013.
Methodist Girls' School will partner the Anglo-Chinese School (Independent), which currently offers the International Baccalaureate while students from St Joseph's Institution will also take the IB.
Temasek JC will expand its programme to take in Year 1 and 2 students.
Students from Catholic High, St Nicholas Girls' and the Singapore Chinese Girls' School will take their A-levels at a new junior college to be set up by 2017.
Dr Ng Eng Hen, Education & Second Defence Minister, said during a press conference: "I would describe it as "facilitated matchmaking". But the partners must be attracted to one another in the first place. MOE doesn't force-fit marriages."
On the pairing up of Catholic High School, CHIJ St Nicholas Girls' School and the Singapore Chinese Girls' School, Dr Ng noted that, "It's quite an interesting mix, it's not an existing configuration of three schools, and I want to be pleasantly surprised by the outcome."

WHAT. wow, i'm pretty glad i'll be graduating before then but then again, it's kinda sad that we miss it ): going to the same jc together is like 4C's dream.. or at least mine and je's.. aish. i think its really funny how the guy says "force fit marriages" cause i think merging st nicks and scgs is most defiitely a forced marriage. of all the schools.. no offence, sc. but i think in general, all girl schools hate each other. i guess i'd prefer scgs to mgs though. or even cedar o_o

anyway this is most interesting.. because my little cousins have to go through this haha! this reminds me of primary school when everyone was like "ew boys"

so today when i was supposed to study geog my monthly friend decided to visit and i was stuck cramping the whole day.

after spamming panadol i went to study which was rather unsuccessful so i went to get a heat pack which didn't work.. then my sis got me a snickers bar which worked a little.. then i went to sleep, which worked the best. but not so much for geography.. so now i have tonight and tomorrow to study the whole syllabus.

hello all, it is friday! like YAY. friday came sooner than ever because of the three day week. i love national day. don't you? :D so today we had our EL o level oral.. or at least my class did. before the thing i was so nervous i got an extremely sore throat. weird. nonetheless, i thought it went pretty well! usually i stop to think of a word for so long that the examiners think i'm done. but the words came to me faster today hahah. thank god for opening up my vocabulary bank. am rather satisfied with my performance though i'm freaking out for everything else because PRELIMS ARE IN LIKE, A WEEK. and i am just dying inside *dramatic pause with about-to-cry face*
math makes me sad.. chem makes me kinda sad.. bio and lit have been good to me this/last week though, so i guess i should look on the bright side. going to go practice some math now.

does anyone know whether i'm supposed to receive a confirmation from the school after submitting my dsa confirmation letter? maybe i'm being paranoid lol, just don't want to end up school-less next year.

just gave my blood away! haha, i make doing a good thing sound terrible. anyway, let me tell you about my first blood donating experience! and today, generally.

went to school as usual to celebrate ndp as well as "skipathon" i only stayed for the first bit though cause of blood donation. singing those songs was good fun :D except it got really warm towards the end so i think i lost alot of fluids today..
anyway, yay singapore :D you're a year older! yea so the sec 4s went a little wonky and ran around the carpark, and my class put on a MARVELOUS performance with a super long skipping rope, cartwheeling into the rope and doing push ups off the ground and everything (y) well done you guys! i'm so proud of you! YOU MAKE US LOOK GOOD.
hahah, right so soon it was time for joey, shana and me to leave for blood donation! as well as many other "honourable blood donors" lol. jia en backed out because she fell sick at the last minute..nyeah. oh well. i was kinda freaking out all the way until i got into the chair. and also quite glad i could actually donate because so many people were just filtered out for not having big enough veins or low haemoglobin levels..
yea so if they had rejected me i would've just thrown a tantrum there and then :p

we were calculating the odds of getting a hot male nurse.. didn't happen. sigh. lol, but the nurses were really nice! and lady gave me the painkiller SO SLOWLY and kept going "pain? no pain ah good" like 3 TIMES i was like omg JUST DO IT. yea and i couldn't bear to look at the bigger needle so dang, missed it going in :p i saw how big it was during the process though. sneaked a peek. it's like those ball pump needles o_o I GOT A COOL BANDAGE -little boy in me is excited- CARS!

so yay, i've done my little bit for the sick people in the world who need blood.. haha, shana and i agreed to go again soon and hopefully more people can go :D

just read V's blog and she did a prom post so i guess the event is large and controversial enough to deserve one from all of us :p i'm only really looking forward to spending the night with the girls and seeing what everyone's wearing, who's going? :D

so as vera accused, lol, i'm one of the people who got their dress already. went shopping with mum during june hols and she was just like "let's go pom dress shopping!" and i was like "it's prom mummy, pRom" "hmm maybe there're dresses over there.."

haha, good fun, love my mom. so i initially wanted to wear something bright and colourful because everyone's boring and wears black. or they try to be original and wear red because of all those stupid articles that try to convince more people to wear the "sexy colour" >> IT DOESN'T LOOK GOOD ON YOU, FACE IT. whoa i had this one relative who wore red to her prom.. hope she's not reading this but OHMYGAWD biggest mistake in history much. shudder. plus she wore this fat rose in her hair. wanted to gag at the pictures. i would like to announce that i have not completely lost my physical fitness. and will to run fast :p actually managed to run 2km in 10.01 yesterday and now i'm HURTING LIKE CRAZY but it was worth it because i treated myself to yummy things :] my apparent aim that was forced upon me by my pe elec teachers is below 10 "you can even try below 9!" NUUUUUWAY. below 10 is reasonable, though. i guess. the actual timings will be done in macritchie because of the terrain. which sucks. i don't think i'll be able to run that on slopey roads.. although the nature might help :p "ooh let's follow the butterfly!"

so it's the third day of school and i've had 4 tests. pretty much how the rest of term three's gonna go. pray for me >< all the sec 4s reading this, keep going! the year's 50% over and it'll be over really soon so all the way <3 then we can play for 1 and a half months ;D i have no idea why my sister wanted to work in my dad's office.

so i've been slacking alot this june holiday.. in this last week i'm hoping to make up for that :/ pray for me. i've already done more work than i've done the whole of last week. if you think about it though, extra lessons were 1.5 weeks, i'm spending this week doing work.. so i actually enjoyed the holiday for only 1.5 weeks. that's no sin really.. i will continue telling myself that tyvm.

so what else do i have left.. 3.5 english essays, 8 lit essays. sigh. math.. science notes.. yep about it unless someone wants to remind me if i have geog homework? niki? aish. i always leave geog out. poor trees.

i'm aching from badminton yesterday. and situps. and back raises. and other things. you'd think i'd know better than to push myself so hard after not training for 2 months. so depressingly unfit though. and the strange thing is i feel even more lethargic without the exercise! gasp. need to start living healthier :p wow, i suddenly got this gush of positivity when i sat straight while typing the last sentence. like *SHING* HEALTHY LIVING! what? i dunno.

so yep. world cup is getting rather interesting eh? what's happening to all the good teams! although portugal just thrashed(yknow i always thought this was spelt/pronounced "trashed" only learnt a couple days ago that everyone around me was right and i was wrong. meh.) north korea 7-0 haha that was quite a fun game. the camera showed the north korean supporters and my dad was like "those must be the few north koreans let out of the country" while the commentator was like "there are rumours they hired chinese nationals to pose as their supporters" which google just helped me confirm! omg this is too amusing.

Perhaps it was their identical red outfits or how their applause was directed by a 'conductor' that suggested the North Koreans in the Ellis Park stadium in South Africa were no ordinary fans. just got back from the cutest wedding dinner. and most fun. it all depends on who's at your table :p for me it was parents, sis, aunt&uncle and a few cousins. super fun. the couple was going around taking pictures and we got into position when they were nearby and then they left to take pictures with a priority group in the back of the room >:O but guilt made them come back quickly. hahah it was so embarrassing. especially funny to see grown ups all embarrassed lol. it was worse for the kids who had to stand okay..

kinda like what i'm wearing though. (compliments,of course, made it better) this vintagey dress my mom gave me. pictures may come up soon :D

right so lemme elaborate on the last post..

last night i basically got the shock of my life (almost) when vera and this dude from RI texted me saying their teachers in charge want to see me, v and je (that rhymes) on wednesday for "a little chat" i assume interview.. and i heard from ivy today that ms lim, whom i had initially lost hope in to write our letters of recommendation, HAS WRITTEN OUR LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION. like.thank.god. and i am so happy right now because i know ms lim of all people has the most power. so obviously so will her letters. GAAAASP. my future is hanging on a thin line people. i'm really hoping that school won't reject my application for the following reasons;

because they don't need throwers. YOU DO, YOU REALLY DO.
because they don't have a throws coach. eh..give me a gym and the occasional visit back at sn :]
because they don't like me. sigh.
because another certain person who beat me at nationals and also has volleyball experience is applying. i might kill myself.
because.... i dunno.

sense the desperation. lol. a year ago i never thought i'd even be trying for this school. now that i've convinced myself that i want to be trying for it and am this close, if i don't make it, I DON'T THINK I'LL MAKE IT.

extra lessons start tomorrow with pe 8-10.30 and then math 11-1.30 how i'm going to sit through TWO AND A HALF FREAKING HOURS of math i will never know. halfway through my head is just going to go -thud- on the table. and all ms quek's gonna do about it is go "crystal, go wash your face" -_- oh well, if you think about it it's only 6 days of this. i'm sure i'll make it.

yesterday after chinese o's we went to town and today after prelim english oral -IT WAS HORRID. STUPID TEACHERS TRYING TO PLAY IT COOL AND NOT SMILE AND BARELY LOOK AT US DURING THE THING. COULD JUST SMACK THEIR HEADS AGAINST EACH OTHERS. except some of course. love mrs teo! and mrs chan! and searle! etc. and it was like in the hall and everyone was out there together so you could hear people talking around you. very distracting. niki said i was good though so yay :3 loved how some of my classmates congregated in class afterwards to complain even though it was unplanned-

right so anyway, after that we went to nikaye's! like yaye! haha, t'was fun.. watched the proposal which was pretty good but i'm kinda grossed out by the part they run into each other naked. SO EXPLICIT. MY EYES. poor actors.. although they're both hot so could've been worse.. RYAN REYNOLDS <3

day 1 of "sec 4 motivational camp" is over! we actually squeezed in math in between during the 1 hour lunch break, are we hardworking or what? ms quek arranged it of course, but still.
i vividly remember being humiliated during a certain game.. but we shall forget that and think of happy things :D what was happy today.. uhm.. i had good cookies..
okay to be fair, it was relatively fun..

right so i just went to see chicago! without any visual aid D: so no specs, no contacts = blurry hot dudes dancing around.. sigh. it was still pretty awesome though. everyone should try to catch it if they can :D or it could just be me who loves jazzy musicals. and ryan. lol. the musical was a treat from my cousin for my birthday so the two of us had a fun outing with haagen daz ice cream involved :D yumyum. "Space" at the esplanade has really good chicken rice.

like physically. seriously man. yesterday we had pe and our teacher thought it might be fun to test our limits while training us for napfa. so after making us jump around like freakin kangaroos on the very fragile-sounding hall floor(it was raining), she made us do inclined pull-ups. 15 each and then hold in position FOR A FULL MINUTE.
so today, basically, i was moving around like i was 90.
quadriceps are killing me
back is killing me (why? i dunno)
arms are killing me
neck is.. stiff.

and well. YEA. so i gave up on pe elec today since there's no theory, just netball. and if i went i'd just be wasting my time moaning about my back and moving around like i'm 90.

-15 minutes later-

so i went home by the long way because i needed to take passport sized photos, which i must admit turned out much better than the last time but the stupid booth on my way home is so embarrassingly LOUD. it's like "please insert the amount below" "you are running out of time" wth?! these people don't know much about PR. uhm, i think that means people.. relations. or something.

we moved back up to the 4th floor this morning. i had to sweep the classroom THREE TIMES before it was remotely clean. thanks alot sec 3s, at least we gave you a clean classroom >:/ though i can't really blame them, they wanted to stay up there. THANKS ALOT TEACHERS D:<
oh well, i must say it does seem cooler. kind of. plus we have a much better whiteboard now that doesn't require multiple chemicals to clean.. toilet smells funny though. i have so many complaints :p

on the brighter side, today was quite a fun day. lunch was fun. gracia, niki, elaine and vera make for a very funny (and in vera's words, arousing) conversation. lol.

hello hello.
it is the 19th of april! I KNOW THE DATE. because it is a certain number of days before certain significant events.. chinese prelims are on my birthday. -swears-

reading FML now. some of them are super funny lol. e.g. "today, a door slammed really loudly and scared the shit out of my dog. the dog jumped on my lap and farted in my face" or something like that hahahahahh losers.
oh omg i have my own fml.
today i went to ri to watch a softball game. it rained, i went in to sit on a bench which toppled backwards in front of everybody and my pants button popped off. FML.

hahah i realized i could actually post this because a certain scary lady's spies probably don't track my blog..
lol and when walking outside ri, this dude was trying to scale a grassy slope with a softball that had rolled down but he kept slipping so we stopped to watch and applauded when he reached the top. oh and adding to the fml, i was late for the game because i got off too early and walked the whole perimeter of the stupidly large raffles campus. which resulted in me watching only 5 minutes of softball before the lightning alarm sounded >>

HELLO.

happy day-before-friday.

so nationals are over.. and even finals day went well till the very end. i'm so very proud to be part of the team that put up an amazing -totally inspirational- fight down till the last race! (we totally pwned relays<3) it was so awesome. and thank you sec 4s for cheering as one sn spirit and voice :D and also, i heard people laughing when i spoke over the mic yesterday morning OKAY. i don't know why my voice deepens further when amplified ): its kinda scary.

so what now? 2 weeks of no training and pigging out. and napfa. gosh. the cement one lane "track" really kills all our timings but i know we'll all do fine. i don't know if i can't wait for pigging out time -after napfa- or if i'm fearing it because my fitness level is just gonna go downdowndowndowndowndowndowndown. but like i always say, OH WELL. ^_^ there's a bag of lays waiting for me..

am in school for pe elctive doing analysis for my volleyball skillz ^^ teacher's phone keeps ringing! disturbing much.. my hand is tired, at least its raining which probably means we can go home soon :D in case you didn't know, tomorrow is the last day of TRACK NATIONALS. and ST NICKS B DIV is tied for first!

so my competition week is over! just had my osim triathlon. thought i was going to pass out in the sea x_x swimming 200m in the sea is seriously one of the most painful things i have ever done. aish. luckily i caught up in the cycling part. can't wait for results, really want to find out how i did :p even though it was just for fun, it wouldn't be nice to know i tried so hard to come in last right ..

i left my diary in school ): so now i don't know what i have to do or what i have to look forward to. which sucks. ms quek's gonna kill me. gotta ask somebody what to dooooo.

A.I.S.H......

this is one big week.
tomorrow after school we'll be testing the competition grounds "shi chang di" at chua chu kang stadium.. thursday's basically what i've been training for for the past 3.25 years and saturday's the osim triathlon for which i have to practise with my aunt's bike-which hurts my crotch, but you didn't need to know that- on FRIDAY. which is like one day before the damn thing.

AISH..
i've mapped out my week in a very unsophisticated timetable which says "this is your week; memorize it, breathe it, eat it." hahah, that should be a brand tagline or something. sounds better than 'just do it' to me.
all my priorities in the schedule are highlighted and "school" didn't get highlighted even once. i really hope the teachers don't go too fast this week. which they probably won't because everyone will be out having nats. kill me kill me now. no don't.

it's like i'm at the bottom of this mountain looking at this tiny winding path wondering how i'm gonna climb it. and then i see this ROCK. hanging precariously above me. and if make one wrong step it's just gonna break off whatever's holding on to it and run me over.

was gonna go for sji drama night this friday to support my tutor but turns out i can't because i have the triathlon the next day. oh well! probably boring anyway. i'm not a drama person. musicals are a different story.

had to come home on a bus that smelt like wet dirty socks today. it was horrifying. and i was sitting in the back, which meant that all the stench flowed towards meh. felt so nauseous i got off one stop early and walked :p which wasn't that bad cause it's about the same distance. but uphill.. yea. it's THURSDAY PEOPLE! which may or may not be a good thing. good cause the week is ending, no good because i have like a week and a half left to train for nationals o_o my attempt to bulk up has resulted in me gaining 1 measly kg.. this loss of weight will be good after nationals but i need it now! aish. maybe i'm losing the fat but gaining muscle.. hopefully :p kay well, chem tuition soon, be strong everyone! adios!

back from track camp! slept surprisingly well before ern may woke me up at 6.10 >:/ i refused to get up so i was tossed about in my sleeping bag and eventually dragged across the floor of the hall.. then i got up. had 2 egg sandwiches for breakfast and 2 fried eggs for lunch, which may explain my sudden ability to lift 6 plates on the bench press ^^
throwers' goal setting was fun. the rulers (i.e. JE and i) made the throwers yell out their targets very resolutely. it was like "audrey! 9m! xin ru! 20m!" it was like boot camp with a lot of laughing. then we ended it with a *scary thrower cheer*

we also had to bathe with buckets of water on a cold day. hahah, it was interesting..

intensive training camp day 1;
today went pretty okay-ly except for the AMAZINGLY FLAMING HOT SUN. i don't care if that's grammatically wrong! it was hot like.. damn. never felt so burnt in my life. i started running around in the sun because there wasn't any shade and i thought if i kept moving i wouldn't burn. got tired after a while though..
right.
so throwers ended really early and jia en and i went to harrass this other coach who was coaching these two mini shot put boys(acs junior). he was cool! he had moobs. (man boobs= moobs) and he could throw the shot like dunno how far. I CAN THROW A 2KG SHOT PUT 8 METRES! MUHAHAHAHHA. i think the primary dudes were scared. but the coach was so funny he was like "ivan, you don't hit 8m do 20 pushups arh?" -boy doesn't hit 8m- "okay 20!" okay it was a had-to-be-there moment aight?
